More than just a dog lover....

I'm Jen, a dog trainer for the last 20 years! I have worked in behaviour, with service animals, dogs in kennels and rescue and have even raised my own litter of puppies (not for the faint hearted!!) I have worked for myself running my own dog behaviour company (A'paw'lling Behaviour) since 2016, I have owned my own successful daycare and boarding business since 2022 and at the end of last year (2024) I gained my City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Dog Grooming! I now have a home based salon.  My own dogs are Honey and Wilf my ickle Poodles, Woody my Labrador and Skye my Chow Chow Cross (or as I like to call her... the princess that never stops moulting!).

As much as I love my dog life...... I'm also a certified wedding cake baker!  I play football for the Saffron Walden Women's Rec team,  I am an FA trained football coach for my daughters football squad and I am a qualified Referee!!!  These extra pieces to the Jen puzzle, keep me focused, strong, determined to learn and I know there are skills that I have gained that I use in my dog world and vice versa...... "Now children, please SIT!"
